Main purpose of role: To provide accurate and on-time monthly management accounts for the EMEA business.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Monthly accounting for UK, Nordic, Polish and French businesses, support the Financial Controller.
  • Create and post standard journals.
  • Creating fixed assets, maintaining register, and running monthly depreciation.
  • Standard monthly reporting, submitted to tight deadlines.
  • VAT returns for multiple entities.
  • Monthly Intrastat/EC Sales/EU Services reporting
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis and undertake follow up actions as appropriate.
  • Back up for monthly Payroll for two companies (including reporting and third-party payments)
  • Review and update payroll processing system and records for gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Provide Holiday & Absence cover within Finance team (General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).
  • Allocation of payments and authorisation of payments for different businesses
  • Audit support for all 7 legal entities.
  • Simplification and streamlining of current processes.
  • Ad hoc departmental tasks

Previous Job Experience Required:

  • Thorough understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. (Min 3 years Required)
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems, advantage if used Azets and Ceridian.
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office package and related software applications is required.
