Main purpose of role: To provide accurate and on-time monthly management accounts for the EMEA business.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Monthly accounting for UK, Nordic, Polish and French businesses, support the Financial Controller.
- Create and post standard journals.
- Creating fixed assets, maintaining register, and running monthly depreciation.
- Standard monthly reporting, submitted to tight deadlines.
- VAT returns for multiple entities.
- Monthly Intrastat/EC Sales/EU Services reporting
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis and undertake follow up actions as appropriate.
- Back up for monthly Payroll for two companies (including reporting and third-party payments)
- Review and update payroll processing system and records for gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
- Provide Holiday & Absence cover within Finance team (General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).
- Allocation of payments and authorisation of payments for different businesses
- Audit support for all 7 legal entities.
- Simplification and streamlining of current processes.
- Ad hoc departmental tasks

Previous Job Experience Required:
- Thorough understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. (Min 3 years Required)
- Knowledge of Payroll systems, advantage if used Azets and Ceridian.
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office package and related software applications is required.
