We are looking for a Lead Material Planner / Project Manager Supply Chain (m/f/d).


Main Purpose of Role

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the supply of finished goods (car seats, bicycle seats, accessories, spare parts) for all EMEA locations. Your objective is to ensure a reliable, timely, and cost-effective supply to meet sales demand through demand forecast analysis, supplier coordination, and active inventory management.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Material Planner

  • Regular review and alignment of the demand plan with suppliers
  • On-time implementation and follow-up of all purchase orders via MRP

  • Maintenance of master data (safety stocks, min./max. levels, lead times in ERP)

  • Monitoring stock levels to ensure inventory targets are met and E&O risks are minimized

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders (EMEA & Hong Kong) and suppliers

  • Coordinating with Sales, Logistics, Product Management, and Customer Service on product transitions (phase-in/phase-out)

  • Driving continuous improvement in material supply performance

Project Manager Supply Chain

  • End-to-end leadership of Supply Chain Management projects

  • Active core team member in new development projects (NPD)

Key KPIs

  • On-Time-Delivery in Full (OTIF)

  • Service Level

  • Inventory Health (Days on Stock, Inventory Turns)

  • Backlog / Confirmed Delivery Dates


Your Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification

  • At least 2 years’ experience in material planning or logistics

  • At least 2 years’ experience in leading supply chain and/or logistics projects

Core Skills

  • Strong knowledge of material planning via MRP

  • ERP expertise (MS Dynamics AX preferred)

  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • Solid knowledge in project management

  • Excellent German and English language skills

  • Experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement projects (preferred)
