We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and support driven Executive Assistant to join Britax Child Safety in our Fort Mill, SC office. Supporting our CEO and President along with their team(s), the Executive Assistant will take the initiative and perform high level office and administrative support. This position provides technical skills and confidential support and serves as a global liaison and strong communicator with shareholders, executives, clients, customers, vendors, and employees.

The Executive Assistant must perform a wide variety of administrative support duties ranging from general office assistant duties to complex administrative coordination which may include but are not limited to: preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations, planning meetings and events, maintaining agendas and minutes, preparing statistical reports and spreadsheets, making travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, maintaining calendars and schedules, and general management of the office

The success of this position will rely heavily on a candidate who is able to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment who can easily adapt to a variety of personality types and support individualized work styles and be able to anticipate CEO and president’s support needs and initiate solutions.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calendar entries and manage potential schedule conflicts while ensuring senior executives are prepared for scheduled activities.
  • Plans and manages the setup of meetings; coordinate schedules of selected participants, reserve adequate meeting space, send calendar requests, meeting agendas, etc. to ensure all participants are prepared.
  • Maintain meeting agendas, minutes, and action item status.
  • Create and review correspondences for content and grammar as needed.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for a variety of audiences including board of directors, external customers, and global staff.
  • Answer phone calls and convey messages in a concise manner, prioritizing urgent and non-urgent matters.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, statistical summaries, and dashboards.
  • Coordinate travel and submit expense reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Coordinate orders for office supplies and other identified business needs.
  • Perform ad hoc requests as assigned by assigned executives and their team(s).
  • Highly skilled at performing grammar and content reviews (i.e., proof reading documents) for mass distribution or executive level audiences.


Skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or 10 years’ experience supporting executive level individual(s).
  • Expert working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams); experience creating presentations and reports preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Expert level written and verbal communications.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with continuous interruptions.
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong initiative, self-sufficient, results driven and detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders, listening, written, verbal formats.
  • Technical abilities audio/visual in virtual environments.
  • Can assist and guide others in using Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to thrive in an intense, do-it-yourself environment.
