We are looking for a Key Account Manager DACH (m/f/d).

Main purpose of role:

Manage relevant Key Accounts in the DACH region, in alignment with the regional strategy:

  • hit budgeted sales growth targets
  • pro-active and analytical management of our retail partners
  • optimize product mix and positioning within all point of sale of the customers

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying customer needs & assessing their potential. Finding opportunities to build up customer relationships and optimizing the assortment within all point of sale.
  • Elaborating Full Year Plan for each account. Secure budget of the DACH region, including means to reach turnover and margin targets set by line manager.
  • Lead negotiations with customer base, including commercial terms, contractual and promotional discussions.
  • Owning the commercial relationship, i.e. the joint business plan, regular meetings with customers, constant analyzing of performace and implement corrective actions, if needed, internal forecasting & demand planning (Annual, Quarterly and Monthly) for customers.
  • Keep track of new product launches and phase outs and ensure a smooth transition
  • Regular travelling is required to ensure an in-depth market knowledge and manage face to face meetings with customers.
  • Communicating the customer needs within the multifuctional team and internal stakeholders in an efficient manner

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Adminstration with ambition to pursue a career in Sales Management
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales and Account management experience
  • Expertise within consumer goods, ideally online and omni retailers
  • Product and/or Industry Knowledge preferred, but not essential
  • Strong commercial drive and pro-active way of working
  • Customer and consumer centric approach
  • Results oriented
  • High level of resilience and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with different stakeholders
  • Highly Analytical
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Must be comfortable working in fast paced work environment
  • Open & positive mindset to embrace change and dynamic ways of working
  • Excellent skills in self-managment and setting priorities 
  • Fluent English and German language required
